The Association of Feng Shui Consultants was formed with the objective to define, promote and maintain a high level of standards in the practice of Traditional Feng Shui, and to ensure the Feng Shui profession has an outstanding reputation. The association provides a regular opportunity to discuss relevant issues such as standardisation, marketing and education to the public, as well as providing a referral service to Feng Shui consultants in the industry. |
The Five Elements The five elements consist of: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water The five elements are the foundation theory for Feng Shui balance and represent a model of the universe which is cyclical yet forever changing. They represent the reoccurring natural cycles of seasonal change, moon phases, day and night, emotions, and even life and death. These elements relate to our environment in which we live. The elements can work to enhance each other and promote growth and the cycle is inherent in nature. But they can also have a destructive and controlling cycle. It is up to your Feng Shui Consultant to make sure they implement the correct element when advising of remedies. |
